Most people join network marketing ventures for very specific reasons. The main one, of course, is the allure of making great money. But what exactly does that mean? The answer is that making money means something different to each of us. For instance, I may want money because I want nice things like cars and beach houses. On the other hand, you might want money to gain freedom from the company that you work for. Someone else may want to earn lots of money because to them it may mean having more friends and enhancing their social lives. There is no doubt that all of these things are probably something that each of us may want, BUT one of those things is what provided the “spark” that caused us to join.

This “spark” is something that you want to focus in on because that “spark” is going to be the fuel that gets you to your goals. Let’s face it, we human beings make many of our decisions based on emotions. And if we decide to quit pursuing our network marketing businesses, it will most likely be an emotional decision. If we get discouraged enough, our minds will start rationalizing reasons why we should quit. Because of these rationalizations, we think we have made a logical decision but in reality we have made an emotional one. The emotions took over when we became discouraged.
