I just want to say thank you for all of your great insight and tips on network marketing. I had often wondered which way to approach product vs. opportunity but never really took the time to think it through to the end result and I agree with you completely. Although sometimes even if you know the prospect well (say as a friend) and feel strongly that they would do best as a distributor they might not "get it" so easing them in first as a retail with the products first is definately and option. I would rather have them as a customer knowing eventually that the light will turn on..to distributor or marketer.

Thank you again for all of your great advice and helping so many reach success!!

These are very good things to do when you are running any business. The biggest thing that you have to do is to take ACTION. Always be willing to learn new things and like you said never quit.

Excellent article!

Really great information to be found here on this blog. What I really liked as far as some points in your article was how you can figure out whether you want to promote your products or your business opportunity. That is a tough decision to make sometimes.

Especially, if your product is really good or if you need to create ongoing cashflow. I like to commend you on the exercise you used to determine which will work better. That was brilliant. Thank you for helping me make an intelligent decision on this problem.

Thanks for the comments everyone, you make some great points. Article writing can become one of those routine tasks that you just dread doing. And if you don't feel that you write very well or struggle with it, then it becomes even more dreaded.

But the long term benefits are phenomenal! I try to submit an article at least every 1-2 weeks to ezinearticles, but honestly I fall short of that sometimes. If this is you, I recommend you check out needanarticle.com. You can join their site for something like $10 a month and then get articles written for as low as $5 each - you just can't beat that! I've used them a lot in the past.

Great post. Article marketing should be a pre-requisite to anyone wanting to promote their business. Although it isn't every marketers cup of tea. But it should be. Getting found on the net is all about content and value so why wouldn't you want to utilize article directories that have great PR rankings and know SEO inside and out. The search engines love fresh content and the directories provide that in massive quantities which explains the PR rankings. You are right ezinearticles.com is tops in my book. One word of caution though; it is your responsibility to monitor your articles from content thieves. Fortunately it doesn't happen too frequently but it does happen. I recently did a post on how to deal with a content thief using whois.domaintools.com

You are absolutely right about article marketing. It's not for everyone though. I have met some marketers that would rather go to the dentist than try to write something.

I think that it's important to know where your strengths lie and use them to your advantage. Of course, you could always learn how to write articles, it's not that difficult, or you could pay someone to write for you.
